About rejection

Lately, I’ve been focusing mostly on posts about Shakespeare and other books I’ve been reading. Today, I decided to deal with rejection.

If you are a writer, and like it or not, I’m one, you get rejected. It’s just part of the game, but I’m a point now where I think that personalized or single person form rejections are the most appropriate. However, I received a mass form rejection the other day. Not only that it was to authors who had been shortlisted for a publication. We weren’t even the straight up rejects. Later I saw that this same editor posted on a forum about unprofessional practices. I found it ironic.

Darkly (and Ironically),

Vic Kerry
