The List (Thus far)

So, I’m endevouring to read the works of Shakespeare this year. Her is the completed list so far.

As You Like it. — I didn’t care for it that much.

Othello — Wonderful villian in Iago. Perhaps the best villian in Shakespeare.

Much Ado About Nothing — If I wasn’t so determined to get through this, I would have stopped right here.

Timon of Athens — A surprisingly enjoyable read.

The Merry Wives of Windsor — I enjoyed this one a lot.

Richard II — It was better this time that when I first read it in college.

Henry IV, part 1 — Has more Henry IV than the sequel but took a long time to get anywhere

Henry IV, part 2 — Should have been called Falstaff, with appearances by Henry IV

Hamlet — I still think its overrated but not as much as I once did.

Love’s Labour’s Lost — Better than some of the other comedies.

A Comedy of Errors — Simple but enjoyable.

Currently Reading:

Julius Caesar — Still in Act 2

Coriolanus — Reading Act 3

Up to read:

Henry V

Henry VI, part 1

Romeo and Juliet

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
